Prof. Dr. T. Higa

Professor of horticulture at the University of the Ryukyus, College of Agriculture, born December 28, 1941, Okinawa, Japan. Graduated Department of Agriculture, College of Agriculture, University of the Ryukyus, and from Kyushu University Graduate School, Agriculture Research Department Doctoral Course.

    1970 became lecturer at the University of the Ryukyus.
    1972 became assistant professor.
    1982 received his present post.

Discoverer of EM1, spends nearly half the year leading the efforts of spreading EM technology throughout the world. To date, ninety nations, including Japan, are utilizing EM technology through both government projects and private businesses in various fields.

Professor Higa has had a large number of successive holdings of various posts in national and prefectural committees such as chairing the Examining Committee for the national contest, "Flowers in City Development and Constructions" advocated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of Construction.
